Small town girls often develop big dreams. Dreams to escape small town lives and dreams to move onto bigger and better things. Movies. Theatre. Television. Stardom. The dream to act often starts young and in the case of Allison Hersh, a small town girl with huge dreams, it is no different. After acting in her first grade play, Allison was bitten by the acting bug at the tender age of six. She knew from that moment on that she wanted to make acting her life’s work. Playing make-believe and performing for her family and friends was just not enough for Allison. In the sixth grade, she enrolled in modeling school, where she had her first professional headshots taken and had her first extra role in the Blockbuster hit, “Blown Away”. Getting involved even slightly in the industry just made Allison want to make her dreams come true even more. In high school, she took theatre classes and performed in school plays and when it was time for college, theatre was the only major even considered. College plays and theatre courses helped her to develop her craft and after graduation and earning her BA in theatre, Allison has done local work in the Boston area and still dreams daily of what is to come. This young, twenty-something year old actress is fresh talent who cannot wait to see what her future acting career holds for her. So be on the look out for Allison Hersh!
